Riverfront Lodge was a treat!
What an unexpected treat! My husband and I had planned to drive the Cherohala Skyway when we arrived in Tellico Plains, TN, late in the afternoon. After talking to the staff at the Cherohala Visitor’s Center we decided to spend the night in Tellico Plains, TN, and drive the Skyway the next day. We selected Mountain View Cabin Rentals, and we rented a beautiful two-bedroom “town-house type” unit in their Riverfront Lodge overlooking the Tellico River. Sitting on the outside deck we enjoyed the beauty of this scenic river and the soothing sound of its rapids. The Lodge is built like a log cabin with log exterior and pine paneled interior. The furniture is handcrafted, some with cedar, so you not only enjoy the beauty of unique furnishings but also the wonderful aroma of cedar when you come in from outside.

Best vacation ever!
We stayed at the Riverfront lodge this past weekend. What a beautiful place, nice clean rooms, the staff is friendly and helpful. Checkin was a breeze. I will tell all our friends about this place. We will be back!
