Sounds of Summer
The 12th Annual Sounds of Summer concert series will have weekly concerts beginning in June and ending in August. All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. on Fridays at the Market Park Pavilion in downtown Athens, Tennessee. Sounds of Summer is a free-to-the-public concert series sponsored by Friendly City Festivals and private donors.
Bring your blanket or chair and settle in for free live music in Historic Downtown Athens. A live 12-week outdoor concert series featuring regional talent and a variety of music genres in the beautiful green space of Market Park in downtown Athens.
Sounds of Summer is a free concert series presented by Friendly City Festivals and Athens Area Council for the Arts. Festival organizers are grateful for the support of corporate sponsors and patrons.
